After developing an established career in the media industry, Kate simply couldn’t shake her interior design itch. Listening to her gut instinct and wanting to build a life she loved, Kate embarked on a qualification in interior design. Now working alongside her partner Luke as masters of renovation in their business KL Interiors, the couple pride themselves on being able to turn “dumps into diamonds”.

Focusing on utilising the shells of pre-loved, tired homes, Luke employs his natural design ability to identify a home’s potential whilst Kate uses her expertise to execute that vision, creating a formidable remodeling team. Kate manages projects from start to finish, whether it’s to do with fabric, paints or plumbing, dealing with all trades plus the styling and selecting of finishes.

With five years of renovations under their belt, Kate, Luke and their fur baby Indie are excited for what the future holds. With their project portfolio ever-expanding, this design pair are a force to be reckoned with.
